FileRun is a file manager that runs on your own server. It gives your users a web interface for their files, with sharing, comments and metadata. The same files can be reached over WebDAV, from mobile apps, and from the desktop sync app.
This website describes the current FileRun version. Make sure you are running the latest version before you apply anything you read here to your installation.
To find out which version you have, sign in as superuser, open the control panel and check the
System → Update section.
